HORIZONTAL AUGER BORING GUIDED
This is the best and cheapest alternative to Microtunneling.
Driving of a conduit. The continuous soil digging happens via auger and the installation of the pipe happens via boring machine.
It is possible until DN 800mm with soil classes between 3 – 5 and stones.
It is possible until DN 500mm with soil classes between 6 – 7 (possible with Down-The-Hole Hammer)
Guided until DN 600mm
Phase 1: Controlled drilling of a pilot hole with optical electronic navigation.Phase 2: Enlargement of the hole via horizontal auger boring.
Guided until DN 800mm
The cutting path, grade and lateral movement, of the steering head is controlled by hydraulic actuated panels that open and close to keep the head on the intended path. A control station features a hydraulic power pack to control the movement of the steering head, and a built-in water level helps monitor grade throughout the bore. Two halogen lights in the control station indicate lateral (left and right) steering head movements. This system helps us to complete more accurate bores in a more efficient manner.
